A false word, a careless approach can ruin everything. When a subject becomes uneasy, a part of them withdraws where the camera can’t reach. Then there is no photo to be taken. Often, I fail, hesitate, and my mind wanders. Sadly, I can’t create a photograph from memory. What is gone is gone forever. These photographs are what remain.
